C: view from my room

As amazing as it looks, this photo doesn't even come close to how the Little Bay sky looked in real life. The beauty of this shot is the fact that there are so many different colours in the sky, and also the fact that there is a plane in this photo (which I only realised after taking the photo). This photo was taken through a window right above my desk. And since I was stressed while preparing for my final exams at the time, this was a great 'breath of fresh air' to me.

B: Duomo (Cathedral of Milan)

This building is the cathedral of Milan, Duomo. First of all, the complexity and the detail of the building is what captivated me the most. And what I love the most about this cathedral is that it feels as if this building has both the traditional feel and the modern mega-structure feel. Being a Gothic cathedral, it was built within the renaissance period, and it consists traditional architectural elements and orders. However, with it's sharp towers and it's enormous size, we can see a glimpse of the sky scrapers in Dubai today.

A: 'The School of Athens'

This is a drawing I did in year 10 visual arts. Originally, I was planning to draw several renaissance art works (you can see a small portion of 'The Thinker' by Rodin on the right). But after shading in Aristotle, there were no energy/motivation left in me to complete the drawing, and the drawing still remains unfinished. What's interesting about this drawing is that it was done while I was sitting infront of a TV. The background noise somehow helped me in concentrating on the drawing for over 2 hours non-stop. And I also think that this drawing is a great representation of my preferred style of artwork.
